Sigrid PREISSL has been practicing as a lawyer in Paris since 2005.
She is a member of the Association Française de droit Maritime (AFDM), the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA), the Association Internationale de Jeunes Avocats (AIJA), the association Deutsche Gesellschaft für Transportrecht e.V. (German Association of Transportation Law), the Institut du Droit International des Transports (IDIT), the Société Française de Droit Aérien et Spatial, the Association Internationale de Jeunes Avocats (AIJA) and the Association Autrichienne à Paris (AAUP – Association of Austrian Nationals in Paris).
She intervenes regularly in seminars organized by the transportation commissions of the associations of which she is a member.
Sigrid PREISSL has obtained a European training.
She obtained a full law degree in Austrian law at the University of Innsbruck (Austria), a master’s degree (DESS/Master 2) in international commercial law at the University of Nanterre (France) as well as a “diploma in business studies” at the London Metropolitan University (Great Britain).
She then passed the bar exam (Certification d’Aptitude à la Profession d’Avocat – CAPA) in 2004 and between 2005 and June 2016 practiced as lawyer at the firm DIZIER & BOURAYNE.
Thanks to her Franco-Austrian/German double culture, her perfect knowledge of the economic environment and the Austro-German culture, she assists the international clients of the firm, whether they are German or English-speaking.
Specialized in the field of transportation and logistics law, industrial risks and product liability – fields of law she has been practicing since 2005 – Sigrid PREISSL assists the clients of the firm with efficiency and pragmatism.
She has also developed a particular expertise in labor law, whether individual or collective.
In this context, the firm advises and assists employers, employees, executives and directors, on the occasion of labor law disputes. She also advises foreign groups when implementing restructuring operations in France with social impact as well as on all general aspects of labor law.
Sigrid PREISSL is trilingual.
She works in French, German – her mother tongue – and English.
Sigrid is a mother of three boys, two of whom are twins. She is an active member of the Association “Twins and More”.
She is also passionate about scientific research works on early bilingualism.
